Now I'm a sucker for colors. I love them all! There's just something about a splash of color that brings a smile to my face.
Yesterday afternoon H ran the neighborhood with his bike buddies and hopped from house to house snacking and playing. To keep them entertained I would encourage a little something here or there.... the tree house was a must of course and a little balancing was tested on Jacob's 2' wide slack line. Catapulting toy swords from the clothes line and painting my sidewalk pretty with homemade sidewalk chalk paint. THIS is SO easy!!! You must try. Even if you're an adult this can be quite fun. I found this on Pinterest my new favorite time waster. The recipe is from OhDeeDoh and uses simple ingredients from the pantry.
Side Walk Chalk Paint
2T cornstarch
2T water (I used warm water to mix quickly)
5 Drop food coloring ( I didn't have liquid so I used gel colour)
Mix in recycled containers (cream cheese tubs, margarine tub, yogurt tub etc.)
Let the creativity begin. I would have a picture to post however I've failed to remember before dark two days in a row....and there's rain in the forecast for tomorrow.
However J and I decided to make this again and decorate the walkway for halloween night. THIS I will post pictures of!!!
